Excellent service excellent food and drinks !!!!

We were welcomed with a smile as soon as we walked in. The salsa and chips were amazing. Just the right amount of heat in the salsa. Not too hot and not too mild. And perfectly seasoned with cilantro! The menu has great options. The waitress was fantastic and provided suggestions since this was our first visit. The combo section had great options even for the pickiest eaters and only cost $10.95 and came with your choice of meat. I had the "DOS" combo. It came with an enchilada, tostada and a chimichanga. Food was ok....not horrible...but could have had more flavor. The sauce on the enchilada tasted like tomato sauce....kinda bland....but like I said... not horrible. Service was great and fast, food was hot and restaurant was clean and friendly atmosphere. We will return. If nothing else for the awesome chips and salsa. :-)

This place has really gone down hill and FAST! It used to be my favorite restaurant! The salsa used to be the best around! Now it’s so spicy that you can’t even eat it! The chips were beyond stale! They were chewy! They were out of carnitas at 2pm which was the whole reason I came here. The service is something to be desired.... wait staff first brought said stale chips, and that was it. Comes back with menus-still no salsa and starts to walk away... mind you... there is only ONE other table eating in the whole place. So I just asked for the drinks we wanted as they walked away and then asked if they had any salsa. That was a BIG mistake! Holy hell fire salsa! Such a disappointment. I won’t be coming here for a very long time, if at all.

Food and salsa was blah for Mexican. Frozen margarita was great. Very clean and nicely decorated.

I feel like this place is kind of going down hill. They used to be really good. I'm hoping that its just the last few times hasn't been as good but they will get better. I feel they cook with too much oil and it takes away from the rest of the flavors in the food. The chips were stale and I ordered a bloody mary that just tasted like vodka and tomato juice. No Worcestershire or pickle juice. Maybe they use a mix but it just didn't taste like it.

Dont know what is going on at this restaurant now? The waitress got all 3 of our dinners wrong, the food did not look appealing at all? And the taste of the meat on the tacos was like it was old meat! The waitress never came back to refill drinks. When I asked for the check she had to pull the cook/owner from the back to tell her the prices to write on the bill. But when you order athletic tacos and they come out with American Cheese , Lettuce and no cilantro or onion come on! La Cabana needs some time to get back together before I will go back. I will take the drive to Kenosha or Racine first..

One inconvenience after the other.

This has been my favorite Mexican place for years but everything here has definitely changed. Salsa was flavorless and watered down, guac had huge chunks and was also very watery (not fresh), chimichangas were not fried but cooked on the grill and completely burnt black on one side. They flipped that side against the plate hoping we wouldn't notice but the burnt flavor was very noticable. We ate a little bit and asked for the bill which was $15 more than it should've been. Called waitress over and showed her why it couldn't be correct, she came back 10 minutes later with correct pricing. There was a group that walked out while we were waiting for food and told the waitress they would never be back. The entire experience was terrible.

Such nice staff and they all genuinely take pride in getting orders right and serving customers. The food is good. It's not the best Mexican ever- it won't rival a trip to Mexico- but you will be pleased with the quality and flavor. One really good reason to eat here is the variety on the menu. Yes, u can get more than a burrito! And the avocados are always perfect so add one to your meal. The website's menu is not representative of their real menu. I will do my best to provide a photo at so e future date. If I don't post one, just order to-go from the bar or eat there. Enjoy!

The atmosphere and wait staff here was pleasant and very polite, but the food itself was not that great in my experience. The other members of my party ordered different things than I did and they seemed to enjoy their food so it may have been the specific dish that I got and not the food in general. They did however have a great selection of salsas and the complimentary chips were good as well.

If i could give negative stars i would. Took forever to take order, there was mold and hair all over hot sauce bottles at our table. The food was VERY VERY gross. Mystery meat as well. My hubby has never not eaten something he has ordered, but we literally had one bite each n left the rest on the plate. Paid the outrageous bill and left. We will never go back. Pick a different Mexican restaurant.

I'm writing this on the morning following our visit because I was up all night in the bathroom. The food made me sick. The margarita had zero ice, crushed or otherwise. The food didn't match what we ordered, hard shell over soft. No return visit scheduled... Ever.

Great Food & Service

Where do I start ... None of the restaurant staff are wearing gloves or masks - not even the cook staff - nor are serving staff practicing any safety precautions. I just watched as she wrapped utensils - again gloveless and maskless - and held another patron's beverage glass by the rim. Add to that the fact that she got our order completely wrong and the guac is mostly tomatoes. Used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but I won't be coming back.

Casual atmosphere with a bar & restaurant. Latin music and videos add to the character of the place Good food & drinks.... I ordered the Fiesta Fajitas and thought they were good

Wow if.you want authentic Mexican food this is the place. Staff was great went out of their way to please. Definitely would go again.

Get over to La Cabana if you want real authentic mexican food. Nice little spot so it feels like you're at home. The owner is awesome. Very friendly guy!! I go there whenever I can.

Loved the food and it's a very casual and a clean place. Great service and I highly recommend.

Their food was so bad I was genuinely worried I would get food poisoning from the “steak”. To be fair it’s been a few months since and it could have been an off day or bad cook but it was really so bad we had to threw the steak salad away. I keep kicking myself for not writing a review because I really don’t want anyone to get sick here.

Will not be going back there. Food was horrible, guacamole was terrible and very odd color and runny. Had shredded beef tacos Mexican style and beef was very fatty and a couple of dried up limes to try to squeeze on them. Tortilla chips so greasy. I ate about 1 taco and in the trash went the rest. Also when picking up we were shorted a whole meal. What a waste of money.

My experience was beyond belief! We traveled from Seguin, Texas to visit family! We wanted some good quality tasty homemade mexican food! They took us by La Cabaña mexican restaurant! Let me tell you, the service, the friendliness, and the atmosphere were welcoming and overwhelming! We had shredded beef enchiladas with queso fresco and homemade caldo de pollo! The food was excellent! They offer a wide variety of dishes with a large selection of beer, spirits, and famous mouth watering margaritas! I will definitely come back every time we come to visit Paddock Lake Wisconsin! Please do not overlook this opportunity if your ever in Paddock Lake Wisconsin! And if you drop in, make sure you tell "Pepe," the owner of La Cabaña that you want the "PONE" special! Absolutely 100%! Thank you Pepe and La Cabaña for your great hospitality! this has been 1 of our Favorite places to go for years.. Don't know what changed a few months back. But place has Gone down hill Fast.. We went for dinner and literly had to walk out when we couldn't even Drink our drinks. Margarita smelled like a dirty dish rag.. salsa was flavorless.. we decided to Not try any further. Went someplace else. did leave money on the table to cover the drinks even thou all we did was taste.. So Sad to see this happen to 1 of our Favorite places. Don't think we going back anytime soon.. and this is just today's visit.. the last 2 also had issues.. from cleanliness and taste..

Horrible service! Food came first, we ate, we were done, and no drinks! After a while the drinks showed up. But not my son’s drink. It never arrived. We were so annoyed we went in the car and husband stood up to pay bill. The tacos were good, the burger was awful and the mojito was awful too. Uuuugh

Hair in food and so greasy it leaked out of the bag horrible!

Great food and very good service! Always a pleasure going here too eat 🙂
